Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Focus Healthcare of Tennessee offers a comprehensive dual diagnosis treatment program. Our dual diagnosis program provides:

• inpatient / residential programs,
• partial day / partial hospitalization programs, and
• intensive outpatient treatment services

Each dual diagnosis program provides for the treatment of adults struggling with multiple co-occurring disorders. We provide affordable therapy for co-occurring addictions such as alcoholism, drug dependency, eating disorders and/or other addictive behaviors.

Focus Healthcare of Tennessee partners with our co-located sister unit, Center for Eating Disorders, to treat those struggling with addictions and eating disorders as these disorders frequently co-occur. There are many similarities between eating disorders and drug or alcohol addictions. Common factors that contribute to both include low self-esteem, peer pressure and a traumatic life changing event. At Focus Healthcare of Tennessee, we take the Whole Person Care approach to dual diagnosis healthcare treatment. We treat eating disorders, dual diagnosis and addictions because typically patients have similar traits including difficulty in handling stress and emotions, a feeling of being out of control and a tendency to worry.

Highly qualified psychological and medical care is administered on an individual basis for all dual diagnosis program patients.
